PRESS RELEASE
AUGUSTA, Ga., Dec. 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Grace Hill, LLC, the leading provider of online education and learning management solutions for the multifamily housing industry, has acquired The Training Factor, LLC. The acquisition will provide customers of Grace Hill and The Training Factor with the most robust library of online training content in the market, and enhance the software tools customers use to deliver, track, and manage training programs.
Grace Hill and The Training Factor, both Georgia-based companies, are the leading providers of online training solutions to the multifamily housing industry. These training solutions, called learning management systems (LMS), allow property management professionals to deliver and track cost-effective, industry-specific education through interactive, online courses and learning tools, and host custom content. Courses cover a range of topics from marketing to fair housing and OSHA regulations. With this acquisitionGrace Hill looks forward to enhancing the features and functionality of Grace Hill’s Vision LMS and The Training Factor’s Aspire LMS to provide customers of both companies with an even better solution.
“We and The Training Factor have had unique success in delivering on-demand education to a specific industry, and the value of that training is reinforced every day in leasing apartment homes and customer relations,” said Joe P. Bailey, CEO of Grace Hill.
Bailey said the acquisition of The Training Factor products and operation from founder Mechelle Flowers was initiated by The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm which specializes in investing in growing businesses.
“We saw an opportunity to combine the best of The Training Factor’s offering with the best of Grace Hill’s giving customers access to a larger suite of products,” said Flowers.
Grace Hill has undergone unprecedented growth since Riverside’s investment in August of this year. Earlier in November, Grace Hillpurchased the educational courses and LMS products of Arizona-based LeaseHawk.
Bailey said an evaluation of The Training Factor’s course characteristics, along with those of LeaseHawk, will lead to new course offerings and delivery methods. All the LMS models empower management companies to customize their curriculum requirements and provide thorough measurement tools to track benchmarks and achievements of their staff’s on-going education.
