Gwen Chapman has joined Paris-based private equity firm Truffle Capital as chief financial officer. She previously worked for Mentor Capital, integrating its recent acquisition of Pérouse Plastie.
Paris, 27 October 2008 – Truffle Capital, a leading independent European private
equity firm, has hired Gwen Chapman, a seasoned international finance and project
director, as Chief Financial Officer.
An American citizen with a double MBA from EM Lyon in France and Cranfield School of Management, UK, as well as a French accounting degree (D.E.C.S), Gwen Chapman, 54, most recently worked for Mentor Corp integrating their recent acquisition in France, Pérouse Plastie. Prior to this she worked for KCI International Division as General Manager Finance and Special Projects for France, Italy, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Ireland and Belgium. Her career includes four years at GFI Informatique and a year at Bazin Group.
The nomination of Gwen Chapman comes at a time of particularly strong expansion for Truffle Capital, as it consolidates its position as a key player on the French and European VC and private equity markets : Truffle is ranked number two in France, in terms of investments, and among the top 15 firms in Europe..
