Harris Williams Promotes Four

Harris Williams & Co. has made four promotions: David Joncas and John Neuner to managing director, John Arendale to director and Jeff Cleveland to vice president.

Harris Williams & Co. is pleased to announce that it has promoted four senior professionals from the firm's Richmond, Boston, and Minneapolis offices. David Joncas and John Neuner have been promoted to Managing Director, John Arendale has been promoted to Director, and Jeff Cleveland has been promoted to Vice President. The promotions expand the senior capabilities across several of the firm's offices and support Harris Williams & Co.'s growing dedicated industry practices.


Mr. Joncas, promoted to Managing Director, joined Harris Williams & Co.'s Technology Group in 2006 with more than 15 years of technology and services industry experience spanning the enterprise software, IT services, healthcare IT, and financial technology markets. Mr. Joncas leads Harris Williams & Co.'s software and IT services sector initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Senior Vice President with technology investment bank Jefferies Broadview.


Mr. Neuner, promoted to Managing Director, joined Harris Williams & Co.'s Richmond office in 2000 and has spent his entire career in middle market banking. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., he worked in the Leveraged Finance Group at Wachovia Bank where he was focused on providing acquisition and growth capital to middle market companies.


Mr. Arendale, promoted to Director, joined Harris Williams & Co.'s Richmond office in 2002. Mr. Arendale earned his M.B.A. at the Darden School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.


Mr. Cleveland, promoted to Vice President, joined Harris Williams & Co. in 2006 and is part of the founding team for the firm's Minneapolis office. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Cleveland worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking Group of Piper Jaffray & Co.
