Harris Williams Staffs Up

Craig Lawson and Jim Reinhart have joined the San Francisco office of Harris Williams & Co., while Tim Alexander has joined in Minneapolis. Lawson, director, previously was a principal in the M&A group of Banc of America Securities. Reinhart, vice president, previously was a VP in Goldman Sachs' tech/media/telecom group. Harris Williams & Co. is pleased to announce that it has expanded its San Francisco and Minneapolis offices.  Joining the firm's San Francisco office are Craig Lawson as Director and Jim Reinhart as Vice President.   Tim Alexander joins as Director in the firm's Minneapolis office. This expansion builds on Harris Williams & Co.'s consistent growth.  The addition of such a talented group of senior professionals will add additional momentum to the firm's strong deal flow.

Managing Directors Patrick Crocker and Todd Morris continue to lead the firm's efforts from the West Coast. Harris Williams & Co.'s San Francisco's office has shown continued success.  For the 12 months ending April 2007, revenues for the firm's San Francisco office alone increased more than 75% over same period the year prior.   


Founded in 2006 by Managing Director Glenn Gurtcheff, Harris Williams & Co.'s Minneapolis office has grown to more than 10 people in less than a year, has closed transactions such as the sale of Invisible Technologies, Inc.,WII Components, Inc., and Cannon Technologies, Inc., and has a robust pipeline of transactions already in process. 


Craig Lawson joins Harris Williams & Co. as Director.  Mr. Lawson previously served as Principal at Banc of America Securities in their Mergers & Acquisitions group. Throughout his nine year investment banking career, he has also worked in the Merger & Acquisition groups of Bear Stearns and CIBC.


Jim Reinhart joins Harris Williams & Co. as Vice President with more than 12 years of investment banking and operations experience in the technology industry.  Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Reinhart was a Vice President in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Group at Goldman Sachs.


Mr. Alexander joins the firm's Minneapolis office as Director with over 10 years of public and private M&A and related transaction experience encompassing a wide range of industrial and consumer products companies. Mr. Alexander has represented a variety of industry leading global companies including ArvinMeritor, Hallmark, Kao Corporation, OfficeMax, Pentair, Pinnacle Entertainment, Raytheon, and the Tata Group. Prior to joining Harris Williams & Co., Mr. Alexander was a Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers' Global Mergers and Acquisition Group.
