Herrema To Advise Stone Point

Donald Herrema has joined Stone Point Capital as a senior advisor, with a focus on the asset management and private client services sector. He previously has served as CEO of Bessemer Trust, CEO of Loring Ward and CEO of Atlantic Trust.

Stone Point Capital, the manager of the Trident Funds, announced that Donald J. Herrema has become a Senior Advisor to Stone Point Capital. He will work closely with the investment team at Stone Point Capital on identifying and pursuing investment opportunities primarily in the asset management and private client services sectors.

Mr. Herrema has more than 25 years of executive experience in the asset management and private wealth segments. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Bessemer Trust, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Loring Ward, a public company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Trust (a subsidiary of Invesco), and Head of Private Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley. He began his career at Wells Fargo Bank, where he ultimately served as both President of Wells Fargo Securities and Head of the Mutual Funds Division.
