Hellman & Friedman has acquired a 7.5 percent stake in software maker Splunk, reported the Wall Street Journal.

Hellman & Friedman has acquired a 7.5 percent stake in software maker Splunk, reported the Wall Street Journal. The news outlet noted that H&F starting buying the stake last December when the company’s former CEO resigned “following several quarters of disappointing results.”
