HKW has hired Joonhyung Rhim as a vice president on the firm’s transaction team. Prior to joining the middle-market private equity firm, Rhim was a director at Parallaxes Capital.
INDIANAPOLIS, October 18, 2019 – HKW, a middle-market private equity firm focused on growth-oriented companies, today announced the hiring of Joonhyung (Jay) Rhim as a Vice President on the firm’s Transaction team. Based in Indianapolis, Mr. Rhim will focus on the business services sector.

Mr. Rhim has deep and diverse experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining HKW, Mr. Rhim was a Director at Parallaxes Capital, an alternative asset manager, as well as a Private Equity Associate at Lone Star Funds / Hudson Advisors. He also served as an Investment Banking Analyst and Associate in the Technology Group at Credit Suisse. Mr. Rhim received a B.S. in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
