Inflexion Staffs Up

Andrew Leek and Clara Chen have joined Inflexion Private Equity as an assistant director and investment executive, respectively. Leek has previously worked with Alchemy Partners and SaatchInvest, while Chen was previously was Marakon Strategy Consultants. The firm has also promoted Tim Smallbone to partner, and both Christian Hamilton and Catherine Richards to investment directort. 


Inflexion Private Equity, the mid market private equity investor, today announces the appointment of two new members to its investment team and three internal promotions. 


Andrew Leek has been appointed as Assistant Director and brings with him substantial experience from Alchemy Partners and SAATCHiNVEST, a private equity vehicle for Maurice Saatchi and the Partners of M&C Saatchi.  Clara Chen, formerly at Marakon Strategy Consultants, has taken up a role as Investment Executive.  These appointments follow on from three others over the last six months of Nicola Boyd, Malcolm Coffin and Gareth Healy, which take the number of its investment team to 14 based both in London and Manchester. 


Additionally, in keeping with Inflexion's philosophy of investing in its people, both Christian Hamilton and Catherine Richards have been promoted from Assistant Director to Investment Director and Tim Smallbone has been promoted to Partner. 


This ongoing growth and investment in the team enables Inflexion to put a large and experienced team on any transaction, including a high proportion of decision-making senior personnel, resulting in a swift and efficient deal process.
