Investcorp appoints Ranguelova as IR management head

Investcorp has named Elena Ranguelova as head of investor relationship management North America. She joined Investcorp in 2013.

New York, January 25, 2021 – Investcorp, a leading global provider and manager of alternative investment products, today announced that Elena Ranguelova has been appointed as Head of Investor Relationship Management (“IRM”) North America. In this newly created role, Elena will be responsible for the management, execution and strategy of delivering Investcorp’s products and solutions to clients in North America. She reports to Timothy Mattar, Investcorp’s Global Head of Distribution

Elena joined Investcorp in 2013 and has held various leadership roles including Portfolio Strategist and Head of Credit and Equity Absolute Return Strategies. Previously, she was the Global Head of Credit and Event Driven Strategies at Pioneer Investments. Prior to that she was the North America Head of Fundamental Strategies for Goldman, Sachs & Co. advising CIOs of the firm’s top clients on portfolio solutions and strategic positioning. She holds a Ph. D. in Economics from Harvard University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Mathematics from Wellesley College, MA. Her articles on finance and public economics have been published in, among other journals, the American Economic Review.
