LONDON, Nov 6 (Reuters) – Private equity firm Permira has named James Fraser as head of financial services, where he will lead an 11-strong team to look at investment opportunities in financial institutions.
“Permira sees significant opportunities for investment in financial services,” co-managing partner Kurt Bjorklund said in a statement this week.
Fraser joins from L.E.K Consulting, where he was co-head of the firm’s Global Financial Services Practice.
Fraser’s appointment complements the recent appointments of Gerrit Zalm, the former Dutch finance minister, and Dan Healy as senior advisers, and John Coyle as Co-Head of the New York office, Permira said. (Reporting by Simon Meads, editing by Will Waterman)
