This week, Oak Hill Investment Management is recruiting for a private equity associate. The firm manages more than $10 billion across all the major asset classes including private equity, public equities and fixed income, hedge funds and real assets.
The position being advertised is a permanent post based in Menlo Park, California. Ideally, the candidate will have one to three years’ industry experience at a leading investment management, private equity or venture capital, investment banking, or strategy consulting firm. But private equity experience is not essential.
According to Oak Hill Investment Management, the associate’s primary responsibilities will be sourcing and underwriting secondary, co-investment and direct investment opportunities. The role will also include analyzing valuations, growth prospects, and capital structures for companies in a variety of industries.
The role will also require performing detailed quantitative analysis on fund portfolios and individual companies, conducting market and competitive research, analyzing valuation metrics, maintaining certain databases, drafting investment memoranda and preparing other reports and financial analyses.
To apply please either click here or email a cover letter and resume to James Scarbrough at jscarbrough@oakhillinvestments.com. Oak Hill Investment Management suggests outlining in the cover letter why a particular private equity transaction or trend is interesting to you and your prediction for what the biggest story in private equity for 2013 will be.
