Jobs of the week: BlackRock, West Monroe, Citi and Harris Williams are hiring

BlackRock Investment Management is currently seeking an asset management vice president at its New York office. The hire will be responsible for the overall investment performance of 10 to 15 assets comprised of varying property types, which may include condominium sell-out, conversions, ground up development, redevelopment and large scale retail. This mid-level position requires six-to-eight years of asset management-related work experience.

Zurich Alternative Asset Management is looking to hire a director of private equity. He or she will play an integral part in identifying and selecting funds as well as direct private equity investment opportunities. Other duties include cultivating relationships with managers, leading investment analysis/due diligence on investments and recommending investment/divestment opportunities to the private equity team. Applicants must be willing to travel globally at least once per quarter.

West Monroe Partners is interviewing for a director of private equity. Responsibilities include cultivating new and existing client business development opportunities for the M&A practice, with an annual consulting revenue target minimum of $2 million. He or she will lead development of proposals, work plans, pricing estimates and risk assessments for project prospects. Applicants should have 10 plus years of consulting experience with prior transaction services and/or manufacturing and distribution experience. The hire should be able to travel Monday through Thursday weekly.

Citi is recruiting for a supervisor of private equity investor services. The hire will supervise and assist staff with the daily functions of the private equity team, ensuring overall processing of client activity is carried out in a timely basis and in compliance with the offering memoranda and subscription documents. Experience in the hedge fund or private equity industry is an asset. The job is based in Columbia, Ohio.

Harris Williams & Co is seeking to fill an experienced associate position in Minneapolis. Associates lead the writing and development of both the initial pitch material and descriptive memoranda and participate in drafting sessions and due diligence meetings. They are also responsible for the integrity of the valuation analyses and M&A models developed in concert with the financial analysts. Candidates should either have an MBA from a top-tier business school and/or previous investment banking experience (one to three years).
