Alvarez & Marsal are recruiting for a director of healthcare industry private equity. He or she will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design and implement creative business solutions for private equity clients and their portfolio companies, including strategy, market assessment, process improvement, EBITDA improvement plans and M&A transaction support. M&A experience is required. Applicants should have eight to 12 years plus of experience. The position is in New York City.

Cambridge Associates is looking to hire an investment director for its Boston team. The successful candidate will focus on three primary responsibilities: advising clients on their private investments; researching PI asset classes, products and investment managers in coordination with the research staff; and serving as a resource to the firm’s other investment directors in establishing and monitoring clients’ PI programs. An MBA or CFA is strongly preferred.

Gerson Lehrman Group is interviewing for a vice president of private equity and venture capital research. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of professionals and providing client service to private equity and venture firms along all GLG research products. Applicants should have eight plus years of professional experience, with a preference in the private equity/venture capital space. Also, he or she should have strong interest in technology, media and telecom. The job is in San Francisco.

Guggenheim Partners is seeking an alternative investment associate for its Chicago office. The hire will be responsible for maintaining legal and market information related to each underlying asset to ensure that the investment is being appropriately tracked in the portfolio management and investment accounting system. A CPA or CAIA is strongly preferred.

TIAA-CREF is looking to add a senior analyst of private equity services. The hire will provide investment operations support for TIAA-CREF’s various private equity portfolios, including transaction processing, reporting and analytics, data management, vendor oversight and involvement in technology projects. This person will report to the manager of private debt and equity services. Candidates should have at least five to seven years of business experience in private equity operations or related investment management areas. The job is in New York.
