Jobs of the week: Invesco, Macquarie, Motorola and Northern Trust are hiring

Motorola Solutions Venture Capital is seeking an investment director. The hire will lead and manage investment decisions for portfolio as well as evaluate transaction opportunities. Candidates should have private equity and/or venture capital deal experience ranging from letter of intent through closing and relationship management. The appointment is expected to begin early in the first quarter of 2015.

Invesco is seeking a chief compliance officer of private equity. The hire will be responsible for implementing the compliance program for two registered investment advisers, WL Ross & Co and IPC. Fifteen years of private equity experience is required. Master’s degree is preferred; law degree is a plus.

Macquarie Capital is seeking a vice president of private capital markets. Duties include leading deal teams through the capital raising process, including calling institutional investors, managing a roadshow and full due diligence process. Five-plus years of experience in investment banking or capital markets is required.

Northern Trust Corp. is looking to hire a vice president for its private equity fund of funds team. Responsibilities include identifying buyout fund managers in the U.S., Europe and Asia, meeting with them and building relationships to position Northern Trust for investment. Also, the hire will analyze potential fund investment opportunities.

Morgan Stanley is recruiting for an Asian head of investment management compliance and executive director. Responsibilities include leading and overseeing the compliance efforts for Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Ten years of work experience is essential. Position is in Hong Kong.
