Jobs of the week: West Monroe, JPMorgan, Z Capital are hiring

West Monroe Partners is seeking to add a director of mergers and acquisitions to its team in the greater New York City area. The firm is seeking a seasoned consulting leader to continue building its East Coast private equity practice that provides buy-side transaction advisory services to private equity in the form of IT and operational due diligence. Duties include cultivating new and existing client business development opportunities for the M&A practice, with an annual consulting revenue target minimum of $2 million.

JPMorgan Chase & Co is looking for a vice president of investor relations. The hire will be responsible for taking the lead on ad-hoc analysis and creating presentations to be used for discussions with executive management and external parties as well as the analyst community. Much of his or her time will be spent working with buyside and sellside analysts to ensure their understanding of JPM’s financial performance as well as its capital and competitive positioning. The job is in New York City.

Grant Thornton is recruiting for a private equity manager. The hire will be responsible for effectively targeting and prospecting within a designated region as well as assisting in identifying new opportunities and increasing revenues within existing client accounts in partnership with key relationship partners, business development directors and other appropriate partners. Applicants should have a proven record of successful sales, attainment and growth of revenue targets. The job is in New York City.

EverStream Energy Capital Management is seeking a renewable energy private equity associate at its San Francisco office. The hire will drive analytical and project support for all investment activities. Also, he or she will construct financial models, sensitivity analyses, comparable analyses and other discrete financial analyses in addition to providing financial and asset due diligence and market research. Other duties include helping the team build relationships throughout the industry and serving as an external face of the organization.

Z Capital Partners is looking to hire a private equity associate in the greater Chicago area. The associate will be part of the firm’s investment team working on prospective and ongoing investments. He or she will be primarily focused on private equity opportunities. Duties include performing financial analysis supporting investment decisions and providing analytical support to senior management on corporate and strategic initiatives. Applicants should have a minimum of two years of experience in financial modeling or investment banking mergers and acquisitions.
