John Orem has joined Miller Buckfire & Co. as a senior advisor, focused on business development efforts in the global gaming market. He had spent the past 20 years with Morgan Stanley.

Miller Buckfire & Co., LLC, a leading independent investment bank focused on complex restructuring transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt financing, today announced that veteran investment banker John R. Orem has joined the firm as a senior advisor. Mr. Orem will focus on expanding Miller Buckfire’s business development efforts with a particular emphasis on the global gaming industry.
Mr. Orem joins after 20 years at Morgan Stanley, where he served as a corporate and leveraged finance banker helping clients raise nearly $50 billion in capital. As a Managing Director, he most recently led Morgan Stanley’s gaming industry corporate finance business.
