Jules Maltz has joined Institutional Venture Partners as a vice president, with a focus on growth capital and later-stage tech investments. He previously was with 3i and, before that, worked in business development for AdMob.

Prior to IVP, Jules worked for 3i, a leading global venture capital firm. He evaluated early and later-stage Internet, mobile, and software investments, completing deals for companies including BlueLithium, Fotolog, Omniture (OMTR), Trovix, and Vonage (VG). Jules also worked in business development for AdMob, a mobile advertising provider, and co-founded a virtual goods advertising startup. Earlier in his career, Jules was in technology investment banking with Robertson Stephens and Banc of America Securities.
