He will be responsible for the structuring and origination of loans for clients in the power, utilities & renewables and oil & gas industry groups, as well as providing additional support for other industry groups as needed.

KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., the corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp (NYSE:KEY), recently announced the appointment of Brian Hunnicutt as managing director in the Debt Capital Markets and Corporate Syndications Group. He will be responsible for the structuring and origination of loans for clients in the Power, Utilities & Renewables and Oil & Gas industry groups, as well as providing additional support for other industry groups as needed.

Mr. Hunnicutt brings more than 20 years of experience in syndicated loans and high-yield markets. He joins KeyBanc Capital Markets from BNP Paribas, where he held multiple roles in his seven-year tenure, most recently as a part of the firm’s Loan & Syndications & Trading team. Prior to that, he spent nine years in the Syndicated & Leveraged Finance business at JPMorgan Chase, leading and arranging investment and non-investment grade loan and high-yield bond financings for the firm’s media, telecom, technology, consumer, diversified industries and financial sponsor coverage groups. He also worked in The Bank of New York’s syndicated finance business for more than 11 years.
Mr. Hunnicutt received his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his MBA from Columbia Business School.
