Keyhaven Capital promotes Teddy Mouawad to partner

Keyhaven Capital promoted Teddy Mouawad to the role of partner, responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments, as well maintaining relationships with local partners. Mouawad becomes the firm’s seventh partner. He led deals including EANOS Investments, a portfolio of commercial office properties in Portugal, and Madeleine, a GP-led restructuring of a portfolio of three French companies. In 2020, he oversaw exits of EANOS Investments and TCX, an Italian specialist in motorcycle footwear.

Keyhaven Capital (“Keyhaven”), the specialist secondaries private equity firm dedicated to the European lower mid-market, is pleased to announce the promotion of Teddy Mouawad to the role of Partner, becoming the firm’s seventh Partner.

As a Partner, Teddy will be responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments, as well as maintaining relationships with the firm’s network of local partners that support its relationship-driven investment approach. Teddy will have particular responsibility for the firm’s operations in Southern Europe.

In his role as Investment Director, Teddy has led on transactions including EANOS Investments, a portfolio of commercial office properties in Portugal, and Madeleine, a GP-led restructuring of a portfolio of three French companies. In 2020, Teddy has overseen the successful exits of both EANOS Investments, and TCX, an Italian specialist in motorcycle footwear which was sold to Investcorp-backed Dainese.

Teddy has more than ten years of experience in private equity and finance and has been at Keyhaven for five years. Before joining Keyhaven, he worked as a Finance Analyst for British American Tobacco in London, where he began his tenure as a Management Trainee in 2009.

Teddy has a BA in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut, and a Masters in Finance from Cass Business School in London. In addition, he is ACMA qualified. Teddy is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
