Intelligence, a Japanese staffing company owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., has acquired Hong Kong-based Staff Management Consultancy Ltd., Reuters reported. KKR acquired Intelligence in 2010. Terms were not released.
(Reuters) – Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co’s Japanese staffing unit, Intelligence, has acquired Hong Kong based personnel firm, Staff Management Consultancy Ltd, Staff Management said in a note on its website.
Intelligence, KKR’s first Japan acquisition in 2010, acquired the unit to extend its capabilities in China, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Tuesday, confirming the deal. The price was not disclosed.
The source declined to be named because the matter was private.
