Liberty Global Ventures leads $10 mln Series B funding in Mediamorph

Liberty Global Ventures has led a $10 million Series B funding round in Mediamorph, a media and entertainment data management and analytics business. Other participants in the funding include Smedvig Capital.

Mediamorph, the leading cross-platform Media and Entertainment (M&E) data management and analytics firm, has raised $10 million in Series B financing led by new strategic investor Liberty Global Ventures.

Liberty Global Ventures is a global investment fund owned by Liberty Global, the largest international cable company with market-leading operations in 14 countries. Included in the round is a significant investment from Smedvig Capital, a current investor in Mediamorph. The company expects to close the Series B round with the participation of one to two additional investors in the near future.

Joining as Mediamorph’s CFO is Kent Jarvi.

His 30 year career includes CFO stints at a variety of technology companies including, Knoa Software, Liazon Corporation, Ejasent, Driveway and GridApp Systems.
