Mill City Capital has hired Angela Wood as vice president of finance. Wood joins from Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, where she worked as a senior tax manager, involved with tax structuring, tax consulting and compliance for private equity funds, venture capital, fund of funds and other alternative investment groups.

We are pleased to welcome Angela Wood to the Mill City Capital team as Vice President of Finance.
Angela was previously a Senior Tax Manager at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP in Minneapolis where she was involved with tax structuring, tax consulting and compliance for private equity funds, venture capital entities, fund of funds, and various other alternative investment entities. With over 14 years of tax and accounting experience, Ms. Wood has significant experience serving investment funds and their related portfolio companies.
Angela’s responsibilities include all accounting, investor reporting and administration of compliance and reporting for Mill City’s private equity funds. She also oversees all the firm’s internal operations.
She is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
