Montagu has sold Servelec to The Access Group. No financial terms were disclosed. Arma Partners was financial advisor to Montague on the deal. UK-based Servelec is a software provider to healthcare and local authorities.
Arma Partners is pleased to announce that it has acted as exclusive financial advisor to Montagu, a leading European private equity firm, on the sale of Servelec, a prominent software provider to healthcare and local authorities based in the UK, to The Access Group.
Headquartered in Sheffield, Servelec develops mission-critical software solutions, with an extensive product portfolio including systems for electronic patient records, social care case management, schools’ admissions, youth services reporting and patient flow and bed management. The company is a trusted supplier to more than 45 NHS trusts and over 150 local authorities, providing an integrated approach across social care, healthcare, and education.
After a public-to-private transaction in 2018 led by Montagu, Servelec has successfully divested two non-core divisions, completed two complementary acquisitions and invested significantly to strengthen the team and enhance its health and social care products. As a leading provider of business management software to mid-sized organisations, The Access Group represents a clear strategic and cultural fit for Servelec to support the combined companies’ customer base and their vital role in the community.
This transaction underscores Arma Partners’ deep sector expertise in the Digital Health segment and our track record of successfully orchestrating transactions for private equity-backed category leaders.
