MorrisAnderson is pleased to announce that Kenneth R. Yager, II has been promoted from Managing Director to Principal and equity owner effective January 1, 2009.

Yager joined MorrisAnderson in August 2005, bringing with him nearly two decades of experience in general management, capital-raising and profit-and-loss responsibility for companies in growth, leveraged-buyout and turnaround situations. He is continually sought out by the leading organizations and publications within our business sector for his expertise on current issues in our industry.” Adds Dooley, “Ken has established a strong base of referral sources and a solid book of business, bringing in over $1.5 million in revenue this year. Aside from his excellent consulting, marketing and leadership abilities, Ken exemplifies the values that we at MorrisAnderson are looking for as we continue to invest in the future of our company. The other principals and I are very happy to have Ken join us as an equity owner of the firm.”

Before he joined MorrisAnderson, Yager was head of Newpoint Ventures, which revitalized mid-market companies. He also has been vice president, equity sponsor business development at Bank of America, senior associate at Coopers & Lybrand, and financial analyst in the Capital Markets Division of Salomon Brothers. Yager holds a bachelor’s degree in management, with majors in finance and accounting, from Tulane University, and a master’s degree in management from J.L.
