MVision hires placement industry pioneer Loren Boston

MVision Private Equity Advisers hired placement industry veteran and pioneer Loren Boston as a senior managing director, the alternative asset adviser announced today.

In his new role, Boston will be based in the firm’s New York office and work with MVision founders Mounir Guen and Hussein Khalifa.

Previously, Boston served as president and chief operating officer of alternative investment adviser Hycroft LLC. Before that, he was global head of origination for Merrill Lynch‘s private equity group and head of the private equity fund group at Citigroup Global Markets.

Boston has also held senior fundraising roles at Eaton Partners and BT Alex. Brown.

Guen said in a statement: “We are very much looking forward to having Loren join us. Loren Boston is one of the founders of the placement business and a leader in the industry. The deep experience, skills and knowledge he will bring will be a game changer in positioning us for the next wave in the market.”
