Neil Schaefer has joined GenNx360 Capital Partners as a vice president. He previously was with Friend Skoler & Co.
GenNx360 Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on industrial business-to-business companies with $250 million to $1 billion in revenues, announced today that Neil Schaefer has joined the firm as vice president.
Mr. Schaefer is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing new investment opportunities for the firm. Previously, Mr. Schaefer was vice president at Friend Skoler & Co., a private equity firm with a focus on the middle market.
Earlier, Mr. Schaefer served as an associate at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.’s investment banking division in the Strategy and Business Development group, where he advised senior management on a range of issues. He also served in the Healthcare and Consumer Products Investment Banking group, in which he provided advice on M&A and capital-raising deals to pharmaceutical, medical products, and healthcare services companies.
“Neil has significant experience in the middle market and will be a valuable asset to the firm,” said Ronald E. Blaylock, a GenNx360 founder and managing partner. “His prior transaction sourcing and execution experience within private equity will further expand the current team’s existing capabilities.”
Mr. Schaefer earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from Princeton University and received a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Harvard Business School. He has been active in numerous community organizations and charities including Everybody Wins, ISLES, Gardner Elementary Tutoring Program, and HBS Community Partners.
