PRESS RELEASE

Nobska Ventures is very pleased to welcome entrepreneur Mark Neumann as an investor and Member of the General Partner of Nobska Venture Partners I, L.P.  Mr. Neumann will serve as a Venture Partner of the fund, focusing on Nobska Ventures' investments in companies in Israel and the Mid-Atlantic regions.

“My investment in Nobska Ventures combines two of my driving passions: entrepreneurship and Israel,” shared Mr. Neumann. “I am eager to help young companies in our portfolio build successful global businesses.”

“Nobska Ventures is dedicated to supporting exceptional entrepreneurs with experienced strategic and operational counsel,” explained Charles Moore, Chairman of Nobska Ventures. “Mark was a co-Founder and President of a business which grew to nearly $100 million in revenue. He's both a strategist and an operator, and he managed his business through a successful M&A transaction; these are tremendous experiences to share with the management teams of our portfolio companies.”

“Mark is a terrific addition to the Nobska team”, according to Bill Fox, himself a successful entrepreneur, investor in Nobska Ventures, and active member of Nobska's Board of Advisors. “Mark's proven abilities to create and manage a high growth business, his thoughtful, analytical personal style, and active commitment to Israel, all make him an excellent fit.”

“We are very fortunate to have attracted Mark's significant commitment of time, talent, and treasure, remarked Dr. Gary Applebaum, who also joined Nobska Ventures earlier in the year as both an investor and member of the General Partner. “Mark's a great guy and will be an excellent counselor to the entrepreneurs and young companies we nurture at Nobska.”

Abba Poliakoff, Chairman of the Maryland-Israel Development Center (MIDC) and a Nobska Advisory Board member and investor in the fund, continued, “This is another terrific match of talent and opportunity. The Nobska team is a tremendous group of diverse individuals, who, together, deliver very real value, beyond just capital, to the early stage companies in which they invest. Nobska's focus on companies in Israel, as they expand to the US, is a direct benefit to our region and Israel's economy.”
