Cordys Holding BV, a Dutch provider of business process management software, has raised $80 million in private equity funding. Argonaut Private Equity led the round with a $67 million investment, in exchange for a significant minority ownership position. aTyr Pharma, a San Diego-based drug company focused on developing a novel class of naturally-occurring protein biologics for therapeutic application, has raised $10.5 million in Series B funding. Intelsat Ltd., the world's largest commercial satellite operator, reportedly is on the block for up to $6 billion. The company was acquired in August 2004 by Apollo Management, Madison Dearborn Partners, Apax Partners and Permira.
