Nova Capital Management Names New Investment Partner in Chicago Office

Buyout firm Nova Capital Management has named Richard Lobo as an investment partner for its North American team based in Chicago. Prior to joining Nova, Lobo worked at CHS Capital where he served as a partner and member of CHS’ investment committee.

NEW YORK & CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nova Capital Management, the specialist acquirer of corporate and private equity portfolios, is pleased to announce that Richard Lobo has joined their North American team as an Investment Partner. Nova opened its North American headquarters in Chicago in January this year. This appointment follows Nova’s recent announcement of its acquisition of five home improvement and hardware brands from Newell Rubbermaid in the United States.
Rich has spent the last 20 years with CHS Capital LLC, a well-respected Chicago-based private equity firm investing in mid-market companies in the US. As a Partner and member of CHS’ Investment Committee, Rich has been directly involved in dozens of transactions and brings a wealth of private equity experience to the Nova team.
