Oaktree Capital Management hired Caroline Picot and Lars König to the EMEA marketing team as head of sales for France, and Germany and Austria, respectively. Picot will be based in Paris and König will be based in Frankfurt. Picot joined from Credit Suisse, where she worked as a director within the cross-assets team focusing on French institutional investors fundraising for private equity, infrastructure, real estate and private debt. König joined from Schroders Investment Management, where he was director on the institutional sales team from Germany.
Oaktree Capital Management announced today that Caroline Picot and Lars König have joined the Firm’s EMEA Marketing team as Head of Sales for France, and Germany and Austria, respectively. Caroline will be based in Paris and Lars will be based in Frankfurt.

Caroline joins from Credit Suisse, where she served as a Director within the Cross-Assets team, focusing on French Institutional investors fundraising for private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds, as well as private debt. Prior to Credit Suisse, Caroline spent 15 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently serving as an Executive Director focused on business development for Institutional clients and the Asset Management business of Morgan Stanley IM in France. Additionally, she founded the Morgan Stanley WomenBankersLab, a network which organized events to bring female executives in finance together. She holds a Masters in Management from the EDHEC Business School.
Lars joins from Schroders Investment Management, where he served as Director in their institutional sales team for Germany, covering a range of client segments, including insurance companies, corporates and occupational pension funds and serving as Product Champion for Credit in Germany. He previously worked at Citigroup as their first fixed income salesperson covering German pension funds and insurance clients and, before that, he worked at Feri Institutional Advisors as Head of Insurance Sales. He holds an Undergraduate Diploma from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
