Oppenheimer Joins Moelis

Stephan Oppenheimer has joined Moelis & Co. as a partner in the firm's private equity business. He previously was with CCMP Capital.

Moelis & Company Holdings LLC announced today that Stephan Oppenheimer has joined the firm as a Partner in the Private Equity Business of Moelis Capital Partners LLC, based in New York. Mr. Oppenheimer has eleven years of investment experience, having invested in numerous large and middle-market leveraged buyouts and growth equity transactions across a broad range of industries in the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Oppenheimer joins from CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC, where he most recently focused on transactions in the media and telecom, services, and industrial sectors. Prior to CCMP Capital, Mr. Oppenheimer worked as an investment banker in the Acquisition Finance group of Chase Securities, Inc. Before joining Chase Securities, he worked as a systems consultant with American Management Systems, Inc. and System Planning Corporation. He has an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
