Patti Joins Cadwalader

Gregory Patti Jr. has joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as a New York-based partner in the firm's corporate department, with a focus on private equity. He previously was a partner with O'Melveny & Myers.

Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, one of the world's leading law firms, announced that Gregory P. Patti, Jr. will join the firm as a partner in the Corporate Department of the New York office.

Mr. Patti's practice includes substantial experience in corporate and securities law, including strategic acquisitions and divestitures, private equity, representation of portfolio companies, general corporate counseling and initial public offerings and other securities issuances. He has significant experience in auctions of large subsidiaries and divisions of public companies. Among the clients he has represented are Sun Healthcare Group, Inc., Verizon Communications, Inc., TCW Capital, CCMP Capital, and American Capital Strategies, Ltd.

Mr. Patti received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale University in 1988, a Master of Philosophy in International Relations in 1989 from the University of Cambridge, and a J.D. from Harvard University in 1992. Following law school, Mr. Patti joined O'Melveny & Myers LLP and was elected a partner in the firm in 2001.
