Gregory Patti Jr. has joined Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP as a New York-based partner in the firm's corporate department, with a focus on private equity. He previously was a partner with O'Melveny & Myers.

Mr. Patti's practice includes substantial experience in corporate and securities law, including strategic acquisitions and divestitures, private equity, representation of portfolio companies, general corporate counseling and initial public offerings and other securities issuances. He has significant experience in auctions of large subsidiaries and divisions of public companies. Among the clients he has represented are Sun Healthcare Group, Inc., Verizon Communications, Inc., TCW Capital, CCMP Capital, and American Capital Strategies, Ltd.
