PE-backed Ascension Insurance promotes one to president and another to CFO

Ascension Insurance‘s parent company Ascension Insurance Holdings LLC has promoted Edward Nathan Page to president and Jamie Linden to chief financial officer. The appointments became effective September 1. Previously, Page had been the company’s CFO and executive vice president while Linden was its vice president of finance and Western regional chief financial officer. Ascension is a portfolio company of Parthenon Capital and Century Capital Management.


WALNUT CREEK, Calif., Sept. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — Ascension Insurance Holdings, LLC, the parent company of Ascension Insurance, Inc., today announced a series of senior management changes, which took effect September 1, 2015. The changes are designed to reflect the company’s continued evolution and to support accelerated growth.

Edward Nathan Page, who was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, has been promoted to President. Ed, who joined Ascension in 2013, has more than 2 decades of experience driving performance improvement for companies in operations, finance, strategy, and organizational development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Stanford University.

Jamie Linden, who has been Vice President of Finance and Western Region Chief Financial Officer at Ascension since 2013, has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Jamie has spent his career advising leaders on how to identify opportunities to increase revenues and reduce costs. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
