DWF, the global provider of integrated legal and business services, has today acquired Barnescraig & Associates, the leading insurance claims management and adjusting business based in Vancouver, Canada, to further expand its Connected Services offering.

Barnescraig & Associates, established almost 30 years ago, has a team of 25 that will join DWF immediately. The business will complement DWF’s existing Toronto based adjusting and claims business enabling it to serve both national Canadian market and London market clients.

Jason Ford, CEO of Connected Services at DWF, said, ” We already have a well-established claims management and adjusting business in Toronto and wanted to increase our geographical coverage across Canada to the West Coast. Our strategy is to provide high quality adjusting and claims services to the insurance market and so I am absolutely delighted that Barnescraig & Associates have agreed to join DWF and our Connected Services.”

Ric Darke, CEO of Barnescraig & Associates, said, “Barnescraig & Associates opened for business in 1992. Since the beginning, we have built a solid reputation for excellence in claims handling.
