PE-backed Mentor Network acquires Sage Care Therapy Services

The Mentor Network, which is backed by Centerbridge Partners, has acquired Sage Care Therapy Services, a Texas-based provider of pediatric home health services. No financial terms were disclosed.

BOSTON —The MENTOR Network (MENTOR), the leading national provider of community-based health care and support services, today announced the acquisition of Sage Care Therapy Services (Sage Care). With this acquisition, MENTOR enhances its position as a leading provider of services for children with medically complex care needs, expanding MENTOR’s offerings to include home-based delivery of pediatric therapies for children up to 21 years old in North Texas and the surrounding Dallas-Fort Worth region.

Headquartered in Dallas, Sage Care currently serves 900 young people across North Texas. Its pediatric therapy offerings include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and feeding therapy customized to each child’s unique needs. Sage Care’s multidisciplinary team – including bilingual therapists and translators – partners with families, education providers, and medical providers to ensure individualized and nurturing experiences for children with specialty care needs.

MENTOR’s acquisition of Sage Care was finalized as of April 26, 2021.
