Speyside-backed Opta Group buys Metcan Industrial Corp

Opta Group, a portfolio company of Speyside Equity, has acquired Metcan Industrial Corp, a Stoney Creek, Ontario-based provider of technologies to produce and distribute synthetic slag for use by steelmakers.
