PE Firms Recap Wazee Electric

Gemini Investors and Socius Capital have sponsored a recapitalization of Wazee Electric Inc., a provider of of products and services for industrial motors and cranes in the Rocky Mountain region. CapitalValue advised Wazee on the deal.

CapitalValue, an Englewood, Colo.-based boutique investment bank, announced today the recapitalization of Wazee Electric, Inc.  CapitalValue served as the exclusive advisor to Wazee in a generational transfer financed by private equity firms Gemini Investors and Socius Capital. 

 

Wazee, founded in Denver in 1921, distributes products and provides services for industrial motors and cranes, and operates throughout the Rocky Mountain region.  The company, through its three divisions (Crane, Motor Repair and Wind), has developed a broad customer base in a diverse range of industries.

Gemini Investors is a Massachusetts-based private equity firm.  Socius Capital is a private equity firm with operations in Colorado and California.
