PE marketing firm First Line Strategy debuts

First Line Strategy, a marketing firm that serves high-growth companies and the private equity industry, has launched. The company, which is based in both Atlanta and Boston, has also named Alison Wheeler Kennedy and Susannah Smoot Campbell, as managing partners.

ATLANTA & BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–First Line Strategy (FLS) announces its launch today, as well as the appointment of its Managing Partners, Alison Wheeler Kennedy and Susannah Smoot Campbell. The marketing strategy firm targets high-growth companies and private equity funds, offering brand and product strategy, investor relations, and capital raise services. Serving clients nationwide, the firm operates out of Atlanta and Boston.

Co-Founder Kennedy has nearly 20 years of industry experience in both an investment and marketing capacity, working with top institutional investors, high net worth individuals, family offices and institutional consultants. She worked at notable firms, such as Fireman Capital Partners, Adveq Management, JPMorgan Investment Management, JPMorgan Private Bank, Sanford C. Bernstein, and Moody’s Investor Services. Kennedy is a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover, Providence College (BS, Economics, Marketing, Spanish), and the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business (MBA, Finance). She holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 certifications.

Co-Founder Campbell’s background is in brand management, creative agencies and new ventures. She was the Technology Account Director at Southeast creative agency French/West/Vaughan. Campbell is a graduate of Phillips Academy Andover, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (BA, History and Spanish), and the R.H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland (MBA, Strategy and Entrepreneurship).
