Private equity firm Penta Investments sold its stake in Polish retailer Zabka for roughly 400 million euro ($553 million), Reuters reported. The buyer was private equity firm Mid Europa Partners, Reuters said.
(Reuters) – Private equity firm Penta Investments sold Polish retail chain Zabka for around 400 million euro ($553 million), the group’s spokesman Martin Danko said on Friday.
A source close to the transaction told Reuters earlier on Friday Penta sold Zabka to its regional peer Mid Europa Partners, and the price tag was 380-400 million euros.
