Permira’s Genesys Telecom Snatches Sistemas Asset

The Brazilian unit of Genesys Telecom, the US company that is in the portfolio of UK PE firm Permira, acquired São Paulo-based LM Sistemas. Specifics on the transaction were not publicized; Woodbridge Intl. worked on the transaction.


NEW HAVEN, CT–(Jul 5, 2012) – Woodbridge International is pleased to announce the sale of its client, São Paulo-based LM Sistemas, to Genesys Laboratórios de Telecomunicaçöes Ltda of Brazil, a division of U.S.-based Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories, and a portfolio company of Permira, a private equity group headquartered in the U.K.
LM Sistemas develops customized interactive voice response (IVR) software and services for customer contact centers in Brazil.

LM Sistemas will operate under the global Genesys brand.
Genesys provides customer service and contact center software and services to more than 2,000 customers in 80 countries. Genesys software also optimizes processes and the performance of customer-facing employees across the enterprise.
The transaction was completed by the senior M&A advisors in Woodbridge’s Northern California office and Permira’s team in Menlo Park, California.
