Peter Fair Joins Velocity Financial Group

Peter Fair has joined Velocity Financial Group as a principal in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. He previously was a director with TriplePoint Capital.

Velocity Financial Group, Inc. announced today the appointment of Peter Fair as Principal. Fair will be based in Silicon Valley and will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities for Velocity, primarily within the healthcare and life science verticals.

Fair brings over fifteen years of venture, financial and operational experience. Prior to joining Velocity, Fair was a Director for TriplePoint Capital, where he focused on financing venture-backed life science, med-tech, and healthcare companies. Fair was previously a Principal with Telegraph Hill Partners, a San Francisco-based, life science-focused, private equity fund. Fair’s experience also includes running business development efforts for United Emergency Services (ultimately acquired by EDCare), a venture-backed healthcare service company, and working as an Associate for The Aurora Funds in Research Triangle Park. Fair also spent six years with Deloitte’s middle-market consulting and advisory practice.
