Pfingsten makes first add-on to ZSi-Foster industrial platform

ZSi-Foster, which makes clamping and coupling products, acquired
Wesanco, Inc., a maker of metal framing, fittings, pipe clamps and accessories for mechanical, electrical, industrial and OEM applications. This is ZSi-Foster’s first add-on since Pfingsten took a majority stake in the company in May 2014.  Pfingsten plans to build a national engineered clamp, coupling and support systems platform.

Pfingsten Partners, L.L.C. (“Pfingsten”) announces that its portfolio company, ZSi-Foster, L.L.C. (“ZSi-Foster”), a manufacturer and supplier of clamping and coupling products, has acquired Wesanco, Inc. (“Wesanco”). This is ZSi-Foster’s first strategic acquisition since Pfingsten became the majority shareholder in May 2014. The transaction is part of Pfingsten’s strategy to create a leading, national manufacturer and distributor of highly engineered clamp, coupling and support systems.
