Philip Dougall has resigned as a managing director of Sun Capital Partners’ European affiliate, according to LBO Wire. He will officially leave in August, after six years with the firm. He previously had co-led Lehman Brothers’ European telecom practice. No word yet on his future plans.

Philip A. Dougall, Managing Director, is responsible for Sun European Partners, LLP which identifies European leveraged buyout and investment opportunities for affiliates of Sun Capital Partners. Mr. Dougall spent twelve years, from 1991 to 2003, with Lehman Brothers where, most recently, he was Managing Director and Co–Head of the firm’s European telecommunications practice. Mr. Dougall served with Chemical Bank from 1986 to 1989 in Europe and the United States. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science, with First Class Honours, from the London School of Economics and his Masters of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business, New York University.
