Philip Kassin has joined Evercore Partners as a senior managing director in the firm’s advisory group, with a focus on the chemicals and energy sectors. He previously ran M&A and and finance for Access Industries.
Evercore Partners Inc. (NYSE: EVR) announced today that Philip Kassin has joined the firm’s Advisory business as a Senior Managing Director effective immediately. Mr. Kassin, who is based in New York, will focus on advising companies in the Chemicals and Energy sectors.
Mr. Kassin has been an active advisor and investor in these sectors for nearly 30 years. Most recently he was Executive Vice President, Head of M&A and Financing for Access Industries, a privately held industrial holding company focused on oil, gas, chemicals, metals, real estate and media/telecom. At Access Industries, he originated, directed and managed over $30 billion in acquisitions.

Mr. Kassin (52) has a B.A. in Policy Studies from Syracuse University and an M.P.A. from the Maxwell School of Syracuse.
