Pizza Hut franchisee NPC files for bankruptcy: WSJ

NPC International, the country's largest Pizza Hut and Wendy's franchisee, has filed for bankruptcy, reported the Wall Street Journal.

NPC International, the country’s largest Pizza Hut and Wendy’s franchisee, has filed for bankruptcy, reported the Wall Street Journal. The news outlet noted that the company, which operates more than 1,200 Pizza Hut locations and about 400 Wendy’s restaurants, has been experiencing financial troubles even before  the COVID-19 pandemic forced many of its eateries to close. NPC is backed by Eldridge Industries.
