Richmond, Virginia-based alternative investment firm Private Advisors has expanded its team with two new hires. Jeremy Kokemor and Peter Lee are joining the firm as a managing director and director respectively. Previously, Kokemor worked at Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley and Ewing Bemiss & Co while Lee worked at Morgan Stanley where he served as a hedge fund analyst.

RICHMOND, VA – April 28, 2014 – Private Advisors, a leading alternative investment boutique headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, announced today that it has hired two senior hedge fund professionals, deepening the firm’s capabilities in global macro and long/short equity investing.
Jeremy Kokemor, CFA joins Private Advisors as a Managing Director with nine years of investment experience, including three years as an equity research analyst for T. Rowe Price covering small and mid-cap metals, utilities, and industrial companies. Mr. Kokemor will be focused on equity investment strategies for Private Advisors. Previously, Mr. Kokemor held roles with Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley, LLC and at Ewing Bemiss & Co. He earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and received a B.A. in Economics and History from University of Virginia.
Peter Lee, CFA joins Private Advisors as a Director with ten years of alternatives experience and a specialization investing in global macro managers. Mr. Lee was an executive director at Arden Asset Management, where he helped manage client portfolios with global macro mandates. Prior to this, Mr. Lee was a hedge fund analyst with Morgan Stanley where he managed and performed risk analysis for the MSCI/Lyxor Hedge Invest Index. Mr. Lee holds a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
