Private Equity Jobs of the Week: Enlightenment, Macquarie, Ascensus are hiring

Enlightenment Capital has an opening for a vice president. The hire will perform private debt/equity investment analysis, manage transaction diligence and execution, and support portfolio monitoring. Candidates must have three to five years in direct private equity and/or private credit investing, with extensive deal execution experience. CMR Capital Group is looking to hire a vice president, real estate private equity. The hire will oversee the origination and execution of real estate joint venture investments and large construction loans in major U.S. cities. Qualifications include at least seven years of real estate work, preferably in the real estate private equity and investment fund space, as well as a background in asset management and acquisitions. Knowledge of Mandarin is a plus. The position is located in Pasadena, California.

Macquarie is seeking a business analyst, corporate and asset finance, within its internal M&A/corporate development team. The M&A team is responsible for originating, analyzing, negotiating and executing potential acquisitions and investments.  The successful candidate will carry out company and industry research, identify and analyze potential targets, participate in and coordinate due diligence, and liaise with financial and legal advisers. Applicants should have up to three years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or private equity, with exposure to M&A and capital raising. The position is located in New York.

Ascensus is in the market for a vice president, corporate development of M&A. This PE-owned company provides technology-enabled services for retirement and college savings plans, and is pursuing  an aggressive M&A strategy. The successful candidate will track and procure deal flow, develop and maintain financial models, and perform forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis. Applicants should have a minimum of four to six years of experience in M&A, corporate or business development. The position is located in Dresher, Pennsylvania.

Early-stage VC firm Scrum Ventures is recruiting an associate. The hire will evaluate new investments, develop market research, build relationships in the tech space to support Scrum portfolio companies, and scan industries for possible deal flow. Qualifications include four to six years of experience in tech, investment banking, corporate development, management consulting, venture capital or private equity.
