The hire will oversee junior, mid-level and special counsel lawyers dealing with all legal aspects of domestic and cross-border public and private M&A transactions. Duties include advising emerging growth companies and individuals on legal aspects of growth equity and venture capital financings, and advising private equity funds on legal aspects of investing in distressed companies. Responsibilities include monitoring cash and custody activity for a specified list of funds and processing transactions related to capital calls, distributions, expenses, tax checks, investor cash and internal transfers. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, with a focus in accounting, finance or business-related coursework preferred, or equivalent work experience.
