The Blackstone Group is looking to hire a valuation analyst, private equity. The successful candidate will assist with updating valuation templates each quarter, compile documentation to support actual financial and company comparable assumptions used in the valuation models, and assess underlying assumptions used to develop valuations. Qualifications include one to three years of experience in a financial role; previous valuation experience and working knowledge of Capital IQ and Bloomberg are a plus. The position is located in New York.

StepStone Group is in the market for a private equity research analyst. The hire’s primary role will be to engage in sector-focused research on areas including buyout, venture capital, distressed, energy and mezzanine. The analyst will also work with other research team members to target and diligence selected private equity fund managers; analyze PPMs, financial statements and investment returns; and conduct reference calls and personal interviews. Applicants should have one to two years of private equity fund investment or principal investment experience. The position is located in New York.

Regent is recruiting an M&A analyst, private equity. Responsibilities include evaluating new investment opportunities, participating in and driving the due diligence process, and preparing material for the presentation of investment opportunities. At least one to two years of related work experience in corporate development, financial services, M&A investment banking or private equity is preferred. The position is located in Beverly Hills, CA.

McKinsey & Co. has an opening for a knowledge analyst, private equity. The hire will support the the PE/PI Practice, developing content expertise and delivering it both to client-serving teams and directly to clients. Duties include providing expert advice, driving analyses to provide insights for clients and supporting Letters of Proposals. Candidates should have at least one to three years of relevant work experience, and strong understanding of the private equity or institutional investing industries. The position is located in Waltham, MA.

Day Pitney LLP is seeking an associate attorney, private equity. Assignments may include fund formation, private equity/venture capital financings, M&A transactions, strategic joint ventures, corporate governance and general corporate matters. The position is located in Hartford or Stamford, CT.
