Responsibilities include working closely with general partners, advisors, and legal counsel, identifying investment opportunities, performing due diligence, and negotiating legal and business terms and conditions in partnership agreements. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in institutional private equity investment management. CFA certification preferred. The position is located in Olympia, Washington.
Arrowroot Capital is on the hunt for a vice president with four to seven years of experience in software growth equity for a potential partner-track position. The hire will work with management teams at portfolio companies to help build value through sales and marketing operations, organic growth and add-on acquisitions. He or she will also play a lead role in all parts of the transaction process. Applicants must either live in greater Los Angeles or have strong ties to the area. The position is located in Santa Monica.
Morgan Stanley has an opening for an analyst, private equity fund of funds. Analysts work closely with senior investment professionals in three-to-four-person deal teams and are responsible for financial analysis, company and industry research, and investment process management (including sourcing, diligence, client service requests and portfolio monitoring). Candidates should have one to three years of experience and a basic knowledge of accounting and finance. The position is located in New York.
Brown Brothers Harriman is looking to hire a private equity analyst. The successful candidate will provide analytical support to BBH Capital Partners, the firm’s private equity arm, focusing on company/industry research, transaction analysis and valuation work, and traditional corporate advisory assignments. This program will start in summer 2017. A summer analyst role at an investment bank or private equity group, or one year of investment banking experience, is required. The position is located in New York.
ParkerGale has three roles to fill post-fundraising. The principal focused on talent management will lead efforts to partner with portfolio companies to establish successful cultures and practices. The principal focused on insights and analytics will create, manage and deliver a program across the portfolio focused on customer data, strategic pricing, product analysis, competitive positioning, go-to-market strategy and other similar initiatives. The associate will work as a member of the firm’s investment team, as well as with portfolio company management teams, and should have a consulting background. The positions are located in Chicago.
